  3. You need a good grounding in a subject plus a decent level of literacy and numeracy if you're going to go straight in at degree level. My mate did it though and ended up with a 1st. If you're prepared to put hard work in you can do whatever you want.

  6. Nope, go for it. There may be modules that are a struggle but the people who run the courses are there to guide you through. If you put in the work you will get there. You'll probably find anything less than level 5 too easy.
  7. If I was you I'd aim a bit higher and go for a level 5 or 6 qualification. The "Sc" or equivalent after your name opens doors.
  8. Superglue one of these to your hat: ibohr Mini Desk Fan Personal USB Desktop Fan with 7 blades, Powerful Airflow, Quite Brushless motor, 3 Speeds, Adjustable Head for Home, Office (Black): Amazon.co.uk: Kitchen & Home WWW.AMAZON.CO.UK Great prices on your favourite Home brands, and free delivery on eligible orders.
  9. I think they've known how to push the buttons for a while longer than that; it's just easier in the digital age.
  10. Bitcoin: El Salvador makes cryptocurrency legal tender WWW.BBC.CO.UK It is the first country in the world to make the move, following a proposal by its president.
  11. That is peculiar. I'm going down to Kent next week so I'll keep my eyes open.
  12. All of them should be held accountable. I tend to have left-wing views, I don't walk round with a Che Guevara t-shirt on... I don't like liars. Which is what all the above are.
  13. I'd like to think that they might be held accountable if they're at fault. Why should we just let them get away with it?
  14. I haven't noticed anything up here, the climate is a bit different though. Have you got any pics?
  15. Covid: MPs question Hancock over handling of pandemic - BBC News WWW.BBC.CO.UK The health secretary is accused by the PM's ex-chief aide, Dominic Cummings, of a string of errors. ^ He's well on the ropes.
  16. Haha. The worrying thing is, is that Gove is double pally with Cummings and his wife works for Murdoch inc. The other contender is Jeremy Hunt, he's positioned himself on the side of 'science' through all this, which is quite tragic as his main cock-up as Health Secretary was ignoring the science to such an extent that doctors went on strike! We're stuffed. There is no viable opposition.
  17. I bet they 'take a knee' each morning... It's bullsgit Eggs. Divide and rule has never been more active than it is now. Real-time targeted ads for any demographic, if you have the money.
  18. High Court rules: Gove broke the law - Good Law Project GOODLAWPROJECT.ORG Michael Gove broke the law by giving a contract to a communications agency run by long time associates of him... Backscratchers.
  19. I take it on board that a day rate over a fixed period time doesn't equate to a day rate. I don't know many freelance climbers who have an hourly rate.
  20. Nope, you agree on a fee for the duration of the contract. A contract can be hours, days or years.
  21. Can you elaborate? I'm not sure what you mean.
  22. You can always throw more people/kit at job, making a 'days' work into a half day. If I was getting a contractor in on a day rate the amount of expected days would be agreed before hand. If we finished a day ahead of schedule the contractor would still get the days. If the contactor took four days to do the agreed three days work, they'd get three days money. I'm not sure day rates work in domestic arb.
