  1. You should probably contact your insurance company; if they suspect the subsidence is related to moisture abstraction by vegetation they will engage the services of a suitably qualified arboriculturalist.
  2. Well said.
  3. I think that's fair for emergency call outs.
  4. On site from 0800 to 1530 is 7.5hrs. So nearer £1500. Then back to the yard and servicing stuff, so they're quite long days.
  5. I would be wanting at least £200 per hour for a 3man crew with van/chipper. That rate would increase significantly if the works were inside the M25.
  6. Universal Basic Income is likely to be the future whether you like it or not. It's nothing to do with loonie lefties. AI and automation are going to make millions of people redundant from their jobs.
  7. Does that go for yourself?
  8. Sorry, I didn't explain myself, they have been trying on their latest ventures; I think that euc was put in in the days before forethought.
  9. I'm breaming that you've got your mojo back.
  10. It might help.
  11. It was quite bad up here. My mate and her bairn tumbled across this. The council have been installing semi-decent tree pits on their latest ventures.

  13. Do you really think that you could kill all the rats? You're tapped pal.
  14. All of them? That's a bit harsh.
  15. Columbo with a rifle.
  16. Fair enough, it all just seems a bit pointless to me. If I had a problem with foxes I think I'd pay someone who knew which ones to shoot.
  17. Would the same thing would happen if a pack of dogs killed the big dog fox?
  18. New powers to stop and search protesters added to ‘draconian’ bill WWW.INDEPENDENT.CO.UK Peers accuse government of adding ‘draconian’ amendments to bill at late stage of parliamentary scrutiny
  19. Do you reckon it'll go that far? I've no problem with pest control, or shooting or fishing, it seems like a bit of a pussy/pointless/inhumane way to kill something by setting a pack of dogs on it.
  20. Good news: National Trust votes to ban ‘trail’ hunting on its land WWW.INDEPENDENT.CO.UK Hunts will collapse or struggle to keep going, saboteurs predict
  21. Taxman to work from tax-dodgers property: HMRC to relocate to Newcastle office owned by Tory donors via tax haven | HMRC | The Guardian WWW.THEGUARDIAN.COM Deal is part of north-east regeneration scheme developed by property tycoons David and Simon Reuben

  24. Two hours travel each way to site (due to location) - 4 @ £25/hr = £100. Climb tree(s) and do the work = £250. Seems fair to me to venture into London, on a one-off job.
