  3. Paul McCartney was recently asked if he'd ever go down on one knee again. He replied 'I'd prefer it if you called her Heather'.
  4. I hope that you're right. It looks like repeated exposure to COVID messes with immune systems with long-term effects, I might just be reading the wrong stuff though. I'm glad everyone you know is doing well.
  5. You could probably find out WHO funded it with little effort. Perhaps it is a load of old bollocks but it seems that the same outcomes from COVID appear to be occurring in both the vaccinated and those who are unvaccinated.
  6. Seemingly so. Quite a bit has been written about the phenomenon: Incidence and burden of long COVID in Africa: a systematic review and meta-analysis WWW.NATURE.COM Scientific Reports - Incidence and burden of long COVID in Africa: a systematic review and meta-analysis
  7. So why is it happening in places in Africa where they didn't get any vaccinations?
  8. Everyone seems to have a cough. It looks like repeated infections of COVID whether symptomatic or asymptomatic weaken your immune system, which might explain the fact that normal colds/coughs aren't clearing up as quickly as normal. There's a 1 in 20 chance that if you get COVID you will go on to develop long COVID.

  10. I'd go for a deodar cedar and plan to fell it in 20-30 ish years when it gets too big, then plant something else and repeat the process. I would avoid planting one within 10 metres of a building you like if you're on clay soil.
  11. Take the nicking, don't say a word without a solicitor, that's the advice I was given by a mate who moonlighted as a copper.

  13. Far-right groups and football hooligans ‘to descend on London during Palestine march’ WWW.INDEPENDENT.CO.UK The most prominent far-right messaging has come from former leader of the English Defence League Tommy Robinson It's looking increasing likely that the fash are going to cause trouble at tomorrow's peace march having been stirred up by the usual right-wing hate mob; which is pretty distasteful given that it's Armistice Day which is supposed to be all about peace.
  14. Is capitalism dead? Yanis Varoufakis thinks it is – and he knows who killed it THECONVERSATION.COM Traditional capitalists are still flourishing, but according to Yanis Varoufakis they are not driving the economy like they used to.

  18. @ chopper: A proven liar isn't the best of sources for your ideas; also it's from The Daily Heil, which is about as balanced as Lizzo doing a wheelie on a unicycle. It's a shite situation in those parts with the real potential to flare up into something much, much bigger, and vitriol like the shite above isn't going to help things one way or another. From my perspective it looks like genocide in Palestine is occurring in clear sight, which is a bit of a lousy state of affairs for 2023. It's good for arms exports I'd imagine though.

  20. You'll know more about explosions than I do. Is it possible that you could mimic an amateur explosion with the right skills and kit? We should also factor in mind that we can't trust any video we see as AI can realistically portray whatever you suggest it should. I'm not going full on tin-foil over this by the way, you know as well as I do that the media have their own narrative, I think it's prudent to keep an open mind.
