  1. this is my set up 11mm mammut power static access line petzle lefthand ascender(note: you do not actually hold the ascender you put your hand through the loop and hold the access line, using your hands is only really keeping you upright and to advance the footloop thats attached to it) croll(when you stop the croll holds your weight the krabs and short slings attach on the points to the left and right of your bridge if you are using the treemotion) the bit of elastic on the croll goes around your neck and kinda keeps it in position, variation on rupes inner tube idea which i used to use footloop pantin the ascender backs up the croll

  12. traditionally the indian bean tree was pruned hard to produce larger leaf
  13. in days gone by maybe, by all accounts its a difficult job to get into and involves dedication and hard work. barony college are holding 2 eight week courses next year with very limited places, otherwise sweden and finland are your best options
  14. its alot bigger than it looks, the bar was around 24" but the opperator is able to double cut to fell larger trees, great bit of kit

  17. not a bad job for a sunday on site for just gone 10 and packed up and on the way home by 130. the holly had a tpo on it but was removed because it was affecting the listed wall and the out buildings were being replaced, the tree actually grew up through the roof, tried to take the stem down in as bigger bits as possible as rob dyer is having the wood to mill but we were kinda limited because of the tiny dropzone. theres no before pic unfortunately but it was a right mess, a reall dense ball of pain. only had to move the truck and chipper twice and nobody complained about the noise

  19. to be honest it wouldnt be my choice. i dont like the infeed height for a start
  20. no havnt used it yet, working with them 1 day next week so il have a try then, its slightly lighter than the old one and the infeed chute is wider
  21. firm i subby to just got the new TP160, apparently it the first in the country

  23. if you want none of the problems like the above try the AKU crodas. and they a totally water proof
