im after a front handle for a 357xp, can anyone help
  5. basically it involved 4 emails supposedly sent by ebay, this included, invoice, payment protection details, sellar recomendation by ebay, all emails had working hyper links etc and ebay email address, payment was by money transfer(i know) but was supposedly covered by paypall and the safeharbour thing, emails stated that the sellar had put 2000 in an account held by ebay which ebay then locks for 30 days till confirmation of delivery from me blah blah blah blah blah blah il try and post copies of what i recieved
  6. it has to be said that angry john was out for a few days at the end of last week, but im pretty much over it now, just one of those things eh, you live and you learn and at least ive got my health, ive sent ebay severall long emails on the issue but to no avail, i shall be going to see the old bill after work one day this week, but i dont hold out much hope

    ebay

i fell foul to an ebay fraudster at the end of last week to the sweet tune of 2000 pounds:sad:, it was a very elaborate con, including documents seemingly sent by ebay. be carefull people
  9. so its drawing closer, 2 weeks to go, what are peoples final plans, and if people havnt got stuff sorted lets come up with something
  10. possibly mate, will be getting another at the aa show in a couple of weeks, il let you know, i can allways bring it to the open with me
  11. contractor i used to climb for had one, used it once, didnt like it..
  12. ive knocked over a few nice trees, unfortunately pretty much as said before better, i do it than someone else. the thing is, its so ironic as i love trees more than most people
  13. hope fully that green bandit is mine, just waiting to hear back from the sellar
  14. the point im trying to make is that accidents do happen, in doesnt matter where you are within the crown if your unconcious your not getting down, im not whiter than white, im not even pretending to be, im just playing devils advocate. its good to make people think sometimes
  15. ok dean you are let off, i never realsied you were so carefull of being careless that you actually had the ability to avoid the chance of having an accident
  16. do i really need to answer this, ok you could slip on a limb walk and pendulum swing into the stem smacking your head on the way in
  17. but by having suitably trained people and the right kit potentially peoples lives can be saved within our industry, i carry the kit and belive i have the ability to perform a rescue in many scenarios, ie the scenario from the comp this weekend of a climber unconcious on his acces line or of a climber injured on the edge of the canopy. what do you think would happen if you were unconsious in the canopy with a guy on the ground incapable of performing a rescue
  18. thats completely different dean, not really sure what point your making:confused1:
  19. cool, thats a good hight, looks like the landowners may have to update their website, as for the unauthorised climbing i couldnt possibly comment
  20. yeah what is the new hieght of the 'secret' tree
  21. nope, decided my max was 1600,beaten by 50 quid, max to spend is 3grand but that has to be the right machine
  22. yeah i know, what do you reckon, go for it?
  23. i tend to set an access line on larger trees and work with my friend who has 10 yrs experience, i do smaller trees with a non climbing groundies, i tend to use systems that allow me to decend from a pole with ease even if there is another climber present
  24. do you think it would be fairly easy to modify to make it comply
