  3. Yep I was a few years back and was about 3/4t overweight. They let me off with a warning and a good talking to, they were very reasonable actually. But they did make a point of letting me know that I was now in their system and the next time i was pulled I would be going to court no questions. 2 weeks later they pulled me over again, they were watching out for me. I was 4% overweight on the front axels, they allow 5%...so I got away with that one. Scary thing is though that was in an ldv, with no high sides, carrying a level load of Beech wood. Goes to show just how little these trucks can actually carry.
  4. Carried out some reduction works on selected branches of this magnificent veteran ash tree today. Estimated through research to be around 500 years old, not sure how accurate this is though. All sorts going on with this tree, got a few pics Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  16. The rope that comes with the Zillon lets it down IMO. Not tried it with a different rope but should be just as good as the zigzag I would have thought
  17. Well I bought this helmet, and it seems pretty good. Light as a feather and absolutely full of vents. Will put it through its paces this week
