  2. I meant to double check that setting wasn’t altered in the update, I’ll check shortly
  3. Spent much of today optimising the site and adserver. Page sizes are now about 70% smaller. Not convinced that's the only reason why some people are experiencing speed issues but it needed doing regardless. Hope to hear some feedback from those with browsing problems
  4. For all those having issues If you could please let me know what devices, operating systems and browsers you’re using it would be helpful. Also if you notice issues on any particular pages please. Can’t replicate the speed issues my end, so looking for any sort of a pattern to work with
  5. I’m not sure why some people are having speed issues, should be faster if anything. Ads load before you get to them, shouldn’t be particularly noticeable when you’re still at the top of the page
  6. That’s the only conclusion I can come up with
  7. I would have loved a pair of those battery secateurs years ago for Lime pollards and epicormic. Secateurs were always my go-to tool for such a job, but a day of it can be quite fatiguing.
  8. I don’t like to be judgmental about these things specially given the outcome, but it really is hard to understand how anyone thought this was a good idea: climber and ground staff alike
  9. I don’t sorry
  10. Just to add, payload isn’t really the biggest issue, weight distribution is what will catch you out
  11. If you’re concerned about staying legal you should probably steer clear of a crew cab as you’ll be fighting a losing battle. By the time you’ve put an arb body on you’ll be lucky to get a cube of wood chip on legally
  12. Looks to have been anchored into a tree behind and stropped onto the beech. The beech gave way and took him with it, snapping his main line…..as far as can be seen on the video
  13. Saw the video, it was pretty brutal

  15. It’s been an incredibly busy and exciting 15 months since the formation of the wholly owned UK subsidiary of FSI Stump Cutters. The establishment and subsequent strengthening of a nationwide dealer partner network and the introduction of the higher horsepower FSI B31-980 are two of many significant developments – the latest of which is the announcement that Sales Director Lee Hatton has officially become a shareholder of FSI Stump Cutters UK Ltd. Lee has been a major part of the success of FSI in the UK and Irish stump grinding markets throughout 2024. Coming from a background as an area sales manager, this hands-on experience and sales know-how has created strong foundations for Lee to support both new and highly experienced dealers across FSI’s UK partner network. He has become the port of call for new and prospective customers across the country, reaffirming the belief that owners and operators value interaction with FSI directly, as well as with their local FSI partner – resulting in increased sales and market share. Engaging with end-users is something FSI as a manufacturer have always prioritised and is why, together with Lee, members of the Danish team have been present at all major UK shows and events. This not only demonstrates FSI’s commitment to the UK but provides a platform for end-user feedback and requests which are helping to shape future developments across the Engine, Hydraulic and Tractor-mounted range. This is something that is set to continue with FSI retaining a strong presence, in both staff and equipment, at The Arb Show this May. “Lee has worked with us since the establishment of FSI UK and has not only shown impressive results in cooperation with our FSI Partner network, but also that he shares the values of FSI – especially his willingness to go the extra mile for both our customers and our dealers” comments FSI Stump Cutters Managing Director Kim Schmidt. “At FSI we’re in it for the long run, making sure we take the right decisions from day one. Making Lee a shareholder feels like the right decision to ensure progress and long-term stability in our UK subsidiary as we continue to grow. Looking ahead, we’re in a stronger position than ever to delivering unmatched service and reliable stump grinding solutions for years to come."
  16. i'd be cautious about removing any of them and leaving others standing...also not sure crown lifting is the best idea, just going to make them a bit more leggy. The one near the garage, might be worth taking a measurement from the apex of the roof to the trunk so you can monitor if the lean increases over the next few months. If it does you probably have your answer.
  17. was this happeneing to you from the start? You cleared your cache and cookies already didn't you

  20. Can’t quite understand if you mean the site is fast now or slower
  21. Don’t you worry. There’s plenty of new ones. Mummy pig is pregnant and one of the other characters has 2 mums now

  23. I’ve recently discovered that despite all the negative press women still love a man who carries a pocket knife. Nearly every time I pull out my knife in the shop to do something like cut a label off it’s greeted by comments like ‘ooh I love a man whose prepared’ 😀
