  1. I expect they ring barked it so that no one could protest once they got to felling it
  2. Don’t even think about it. Soon as you have a load on the back you will be screwed. Even on very slightly damp grass you’ll probably just sit and spin
  3. Jo Beau, the Belgian manufacturer known for its compact woodchippers, stumpgrinders and scarifiers, have reinvented their complete line-up of professional chippers. After 22 years it was time for a facelift. And what a result! Not only did we tackle the looks, but we also made a lot of design improvements, construction reinforcements, and performance increases. The improvements we have made include: Larger volumes. Jo Beau has strived to make the intake of larger volumes of branches and corresponding greenery possible. The in-feed opening has been increased by 20%, and the volume of the in-feed hopper increased by 6%! This makes it easy for the operator to get wider branches into the in-feed opening. Reinforced construction. Over the years, Jo Beau has built up a great deal of experience. They have used this knowledge in their renewed design. “We listen carefully to those who work daily with our Jo Beau chippers. It was mainly these users who suggested possible improvements. We use thicker, heavier steel plates in the most sensitive areas of the machine to make our wood chippers even more durable than they used to be.” Ergonomics. Ergonomics for the user has been the focus of our attention since the first design of the Jo Beau wood chippers. A low input of branches, easy movement of the machine and good balance, and importantly good accessibility to the engine and fuel tank, to name but a few. Design. All these points together led to the renewed designs being added to a range of machines for the 21st century. A sharp, tough and fresh look shows that we are ready for the future! Again, questions and comments from the end user were taken into account! The demand for more fixation eyes in order to be able to secure the machines better during transport is one example of this. On some models there are also new options, such as ‘LED work lights’ on the M500 wood chipper, which is now also equipped with the latest Honda iGX800 (25Hp / Electric Fuel Injection / electric throttle / no more throttle & choke cables). Warranty. Jo Beau strongly believes in their own products and have therefore tinkered with the 'warranty conditions'. By registering your new Jo Beau Next Generation machine, Jo Beau doubles your warranty period for free! For professionals, the warranty period increases from 1 year to 3 years. For rental companies, the warranty period increases from 6 months to 1 year. For private users Jo Beau even goes from 2 up to 4 years! 4. Agree. Its a skill developed over years, unless you have some sort of photographic memory of course.
  5. Def not laburnum. The heartwood could be mistaken for it perhaps but not the bark
  6. "THE ULTIMATE BACK TO NATURE DAY! Recreational tree climbing develops visual & physical coordination. It is also a superb experience for schools, families, campsites & team building events. 7. That’s not a bad deal i don’t reckon for 4 years worry free motoring. Is that £345 including the vat?
  8. Yep, Most are bought on pcp, an affordable way for literally anyone to buy a new car. When I was a youngster you never saw lads in new motors, now they all have them. I have done pcp's for the past 11 years. Current one will be paid off in a few months and I don't plan on changing this time.

    Manuh

    How small?
  10. Well yeah and no. It bares no resemblance to the iconic muscle car.
  11. Just had a letter from Halifax dropping my credit card limit by a whopping 6k. I have a good credit rating, so no real reason for this. Anyone else had similar out of the blue?
  12. I had a preorder on the electric mustang but cancelled it. Didn’t really need it so didn’t see the sense spending that kinda money at the moment. Plus I suspect there may well be some good deals around next year. Funny what you said about the Kia dealer. We went to look at one also and it was the dealer that put us off. I had done a fair amount of research before hand and seemed to know far more than them at their own motor
  13. I think the old staged reduction thing is 20 year old science now, things have moved on I believe. Not sure what the latest 'expert' opinion is. Personally the logic behind the tree throwing out more roots to make up for all the panic growth it will put on after a reduction makes perfect sense to me.
  14. Concerned about your bucket list mate. I fear you may be missing out on a few things
  15. I wouldn’t be calling and asking for it free either. Putting your name on the tip site directory and waiting to be called and offered it is one thing. Asking for it is a bit on the rude side.
  16. Yep it is and always was Arbsafe. I very much doubt insurance companies would accept it as proof of ownership though.
  17. Specs the spec. It could have been done with more care to the aesthetics, would it have changed anything regards the trees response to the pruning? Probably not
  18. Bloody brexit voters
  19. Those new shoots are panic growth. the reason it’s better to remove it now is because the longer you leave it the more brittle it will become and the more likely to fail and yes, there’s no hope for the tree, sorry!
  20. Nope, could make that happen but people rarely name their files, specially from mobiles. I might go through and manually add some alt tags in the next round of seo
  21. Nope I left that out, didn’t feel it was that necessary?
  22. Still nothing through the directory?
  23. No he didn't
  24. The tree would probably take it, set the sling right at the base. The issue is the height of the stump you’re trying to pull out. You’d typically want the stump to be 3-4 ft high so you’d get some leverage with the winch. its not impossible. I just think by the time you have excavated enough of the stump and axes through the roots you’d probably be already there anyway
