i paid £800 for my tractor matty, and it gives me little trouble. i do about 200ton of logs a year at the moment, with a hakki pilke processor. the processor would be your biggest expense but worth its weight in gold. maybe as mike if he has any trade ins coming...1X47 is what i use, wouldnt recommend going smaller if you dont have to. a circular saw bench is better than nothing and can be had for a few hundred quid but if you're only going to do 20-30 loads in your first year you're probably as well doing it by hand and making a bit more cash

cheers skwerl and welcome. ive found a woman who makes some pretty neat custom sites and she seems pretty reasonably priced too, i also have a friend fiddling about with stuff too, just want to get the basic forum lists in place and stuff first welcome deva!
