  2. you quite sure about that frans? i've been told otherwise though never tried myself
  3. hahahaha...i wondered how much longer you'd hold off now that daniels stocking them
  4. david, very hard to put a price on what companies should be paying. i freelance to several companies and find what they pay me has a direct bearing on their market and what they are able to price their own work out at.
  5. im not anti mate..i was more just addressing the trust issue than anything else
  6. haha dont ya just wonder where they hell these people store the stuff the rest of the year?
  7. sorry....but in my experience you cant trust anyone with an addiction/habit. they will be looking at ways to get their fix, and i dont just mean drugs, simple things like smoking regular ciggies in work trucks after being told no are a regular occurance.
  8. how many wraps and braids are you using?
  9. the work site isnt the place for it, end of story
  10. people who smoke all the time just think they arent affected...in actual fact they think they are not affected because they need to be stoned just to feel "normal" again, anyone who thinks otherwise is just kidding themselves. im speaking from experience too. personally id walk off site now before working with someone doing drugs.
  11. short of swishing around clean petrol in the petrol and oil tanks and pouring it out, whats the best way of cleaning our dirty tanks....without using expensive workshop tools.
  12. this looks interesting, just found the link over at arbjobs http://bbsystems2.co.uk.temp-www.com/Default.aspx#ArbTag
  13. and also we'll all recognize you at the apf:wave:
  14. that could have been nasty! thanks for posting. i can picture the scenario, we've all done it a hundred times i'll bet
  15. i wouldnt use that set up personally for that reason. a mallion would be the only acceptable link to use in that application IMO but that would just be a pain to set up. if you're going to set up a friction saver in that way which isnt retrievable you'd be as well off girth hitching a loopie sling then running straight off one biner/pulley combo
  16. one good thing about the ISA climbing competitions is they encourage aerial rescue....you get to see lots of different techniques carried out in the scenarios they set. even if you're not competing yourself theres plenty to take away with you
  17. good to hear mate, thanks dont forget to have a go on the raffle!
