safety glasses that don't hurt when wearing ear defenders

yeah the foam ear plugs would work, but when i'm working with other people like today (doing traffic duty for two guys topped some over hanging ash) it would be a pain taking off my gloves, removing plugs, communicating, re-fitting plugs, putting gloves back on every time someone wants to communicate

when i'm doing ground work i wear banded foam plugs just for the reasons you stated as soon as the trunk is felled, out come the big defenders.

when climbing i use the silicone tree ear plugs that still let me hear someone on the ground but will cut the high picthed noise out

Have you considered wearing ear buds or whatever they're called instead of the helmet mounted ear defenders?

Sympathise with you getting hit in the eye, my eyes seem to be chip magnets too, was looking at an overgrown laurel hedge yesterday that the owner wanted quoted for and managed to poke myself in the eye with a damn leaf

Leaf minor damage is what it's called.

I would suggest the petzl visir but I'm not talking from experience, just from what I think I'm going to do about the same problem. Does anyone have any cons on them? https://honeybros.com/Item/Petzl_Vizir

Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app

Only if it's raining, sawdust gets stuck on it but I wear mine in addition to the mesh vizor so I can push the vizir up and just use the mesh, both operate independently.
