Good stuff.

I don't quite get the logic behind having to replace the spliced rope every 6 months. I assume this is because you possibly wouldn't get a loler inspector to pass it?

I have the original art rope guide which doesn't get a lot of use anymore, due to going srt.

But when I occasionally use ddrt it does make life alot easier.

It's possible to make a LOLER passable puller saver without using knots. All you'd need is a few metres of 8mm hitch cord, some whipping twine, and some heat shrink.

 

Helluva lot less bulky than that thing!

I didn't buy the Orange rope, pinto was £27.25 little biner was £5.07 Sirus cord was about £3.26

 

Prices may not be all that correct as I'm keeping that under my hat.
