AAAARRRRGGGHHHH!

Had it again today, woman rings up and says how much are your logs delivered?

"£60 per big bulk bag" i answer,

"Oh, how big is a big bag she asks"

"They measure 0.72 cu meter level, but i heap them up a bit so you will get nearer 0.75 or 0.8 cu meters"

"Ah, ok not real sure how big that is"

"Erm, well its less than a cubic meter" i reply

"Oh, well the trouble is we've only bought it by the load or half load before"

:cursing::cursing:

She did go on to order two bags, but ended by saying "well i guess we'll see how big the bags are when you turn up with them"!

I feel its a big uphill struggle sometimes

:bash::banghead:

Tell them how much a cubic metre Pete, you'd have to be pretty thick not to know what a cubic metre looks like, then ask them what volume they require, half a cube, a full cube or 2 cube

Did try that Dean, she couldnt visualise something that measured 1M x 1M x 1M!:confused1:

She would of been happy for me to deliver "A Load" though:bird:

I still cannot get my head around this, i know ive said about it before, but is it only me that thinks terminology like this is just WRONG?
