I know I have said this before,so at the risk of boring everyone, the stihl HSA 86 battery hedge trimmer is the best and most convenient small power tool I have ever used.

Fantastic bit of kit it is and the same with the long reach hedge cutter...throw away them ladders !!! .

The demand for them has totally outstripped Stihl and caught them with there Pants' down .

Wish i can say the same about husky as they seem to be far behind on the launch of a long reach Li hedge cutter. Dealer told me some time next year but got told that last year. Also went to order the 12v charger they have advertised in the catalog only to be told not launched yet. Me thinks made wrong choice Grrrrrrr. But saying that the two saws and strimmer seem ok so will just have to learn how to be patient.

The waiting list on the hedge cutters is due to a recall of the hsa, they say it's a safety issues, certain hedge cutters have problems that the 2 hand safety doesn't work always. Mine was recalled in may, went yesterday to the shop to get it back because they still have no new hedge cutters. I never had any issues with it, great bit of Kit!
