hey guys , thinkin of getting myself a splitter as got good demand for logs now and would like to make life a little easyer , not after anything too fancy a few hundred quid if poss electric or petrol ? whats a good make to go for :confused1: thanks peeps

 

No offense but you need to multiply that £figure x 10 before you even contemplate it...

no mate but you will need to spend some thing like £1200 to even make it worth your while, but that will get you a good splitter that will do the job you want it too, and is perfect for tree surgery waste - this is what we have got at work and is perfect for tree surgery waste, and i think is worth every penny. you can get them electric or petrol versions and you can get them from fuelwood, in warwick :001_smile:

trust me jack it is a worthwhile consideration, you will effortlessly split a builders bag in about 20 mins an hour with two of you on that splitter, they really are worth the money, and it will last you a long long time
