Ive seen some pretty chunky young guys coming into the industry.I think the use of ascenders and newer technology takes the hard work out of climbing in the physical side of things....mental toughness is the real issue for me,as said before bodies adapt to the job but it takes the mind a lot longer to get "fit" for the tasks at hand.

So how many "navy seals" that do tree work do you know?

I thought they were all about cloak and dagger missions, do they do tree cutting on the days off.

One, but at 6'7" and 300lbs, he was a bit overly fond of pole saws!

Could throw an 084 around like an 036 though!

Power to weight ratio's are not quite as critical as they used to be, but I suspect the international climbing champs could all manage atleast 3 dead hang muscle ups.

So give me a percentage Eggs?

I freely admit I fell out of that small percentage capable of doing it daily 7-8 years ago!

How can I, or anyone else give you a percentage?

What you are trying to do is make out you are doing a job that is over and above what anyone else does.

Walk a day in my shoes, Jomoco.

Not that my job is big, brave, or hard........ Most folk wouldn't do it mind.
