Worktops in the kitchen have only had the one lot of three coats of this gear

 

 

 

Its not faded, stained ,peeled or given up around things like the sink or heat from the cooker in ten years so I would recommend it.

 

 

 

Liking those worktops!

 

Are they Howdens units / handles Bob? Look very familiar.

 

I'd second that Liberon brand - Axminster tools supply it, good stuff.

Have a look at Treatex hard wax. Base coat then top coat. Very easy to apply and great finish.

Aspenarb, that kitchen worktop looks really good. What wood is it?

 

10"x3" softwood sawn floor joist run through a planer/thicknesser, it moved about a bit at first but settled down after about six months.
