Hi there all,

I want to know if any of u can help me i am 23 and have a full car licence and my unimog is classed as a tractor i was wondering if i can tow a tralier of any size? Or do i need a licence?

I think you can tow whatever you want with a tractor. As long as the trailer is road legal and the tractor can stop it.

how crazy is that?? and you cant tow over 750kgs without a trailer licence on the road, madness

this is going to go all rules and regs very quickly and doom and gloom about how terrible mog owners are and stuff, but before it does mate, go for it, i think depending on mog chasis size depends on how big a trailer you can pull, it must be the right type of trailer on air brakes and it depends what you are towing if you are running on red. ok make way for the mog police:sneaky2::biggrin:

:dito: love them, whilst i was at college the fire brigade where doing some sort of training there, they had a lovely mog :thumbup1: i almost drooled!!

Yer I run it on white so should be ok and I think this is right that

A unimog can tow 27 tonnes legaly!

The trailer will have brakes so I take it that will be ok and road legal!

 

I am going to buy it! Cheers giles
