But it might just save your life, well that's what the bloke from aspen recons

Yeah and you won't have to put a new £9 fuel line in every ten years! Of course everyone who uses saws with it drops dead of fume inhalation by 35

Out of interest is it ok to mix any regular brand 2 stroke oil with Aspen 4 ?. I cannot justify the statement but I have a lot of confidence in Stihl Super (green). Are there any disadvantages or advantages to doing this over using Aspen2 ?

I used Aspen 4 + Stihl HP Ultra for a while, no problems.

I switched from Aspen 2 because I didn't like the metallic smell/taste of the exhaust gases, much the same with the Aspen 4+HP mix though.

Switched to Stihl MotoMix (which is Alkylate fuel + HP Ultra) and find it much better.

"No need to fix when you use MotoMix"

I don't use that much .

Most of the people I know who use aspen are either subbies who are 'occasional' users or business owners that charge customers silly prices & pay their staff less than the going rate. (probably to cover fuel costs!)

It's a bit different if you're using 5 litres + a day...

To be honest guys, you would be amazed to see how many professional users, both large and small are using Aspen. We are supplying several large and well respected tree surgery companies in the SW with Aspen by the pallet, and a few others throughout the UK.

Its true that our largest market is the domestic user, but we also have ever so many garden contractors using it and loving it.

Most who use it have decided that the benefits far outway the cost.
