The cock up usually comes with how it's implemented and ably assisted by the laws of unintended consequences!

Isn't it normally the point when all reports have been submitted by the "independent " consultants and risk assessors, and their grossly inflated, double it,treble it and add a bit for inflation bills have been paid. Suddenly the initial idea finds it no longer has the funds it started out with, and the cutbacks financial prioritising starts to bring the whole project down on its knees

That sounds about right.

Here's a teeny tiny step in the right direction. Hopefully there weren't too many consultants, advisors and other expensive parasites involved in making the decision.

Labour has confirmed it will implement the ban that the previous Conservative government committed to.

The old public information broadcasts were good back in the day. My favourite was the guy getting through a barbed wire fence with a shotgun, mind you shotguns could be bought from a catalogue back then pretty easily. A few ads with some obese waddlers would soon have the body positivity fools screaming.

Which is why i dont think the governments proposals will come to much, will be stopped in its tracks like everything else due to idiots like this.

The elderly fuel payment withdrawal should have been stopped in its tracks also, but they voted for whats best for themselves of course.

Or this.

The problem is that half the population wouldn't see a problem with those pictures. The perceived norm for body shape has been skewed so far to the right of the scale in recent years. Not helped by the stupid body positivity thinking.
