When they bandied about the £7mil a day hotel costs it worked out at approx £150 a day/person by my junior school maths. That is not in any way cheap - the hotels are making big money at that. There is money being made hand-over-fist by everyone involved in the asylum job…

Yep, they are having it away. Guess who owns these so called hotels around this part of Staffordshire?

I’m still not sure how we just turn them round without breaking Maritime law though.

I’m not spending all night at guessing games🙄, Come on who is it?

As for turning the boats around intercept them before they set sail - issue every French copper and border guard with a long handled fork or bale pike🤔

The Pakistani (origin) own them, I may be mistaken but I thought we have our own border control In France.

The only time the French were happy for the UK to patrol their beaches was June 1944? At present they will not let us patrol their channel coastline. If they did a company of Gurkhas slashing rubber boats with their Kukri’s would stop it in a week. I believe the only place we have a presence is the Chunel?

On BBC news right now, but I was reading this earlier…

The global population is projected to reach 8 billion on 15 November 2022, and India is projected to surpass China as the world's most populous country in 2023, according to World Population Prospects 2022, released today on World Population Day.

8 of the highest growth rate populations in sub Saharan Africa. Well that’s great news given the supposed global warming predictions. Not much chance of many of those cnuts staying where they are.

Just wondering, why is the ‘Western world’ pumping money into these regions to perpetuate population growth which far outstrips what is naturally sustainable? Why bother, all that’s happening is the artificial interference in a situation that nature seems quite capable of managing for itself.

You can buy the inflatables they use for 1000-1500 quid on alibaba.

Are they second hand by any chance?

"Only used one summer".

My thinking was more that it's a pretty low start up cost for people smuggling when you are charging 2-5k per person, just need a 2nd hand outboard and that 1500 quid super dinghy.
