That the barber shops were being run by Albanian gangs, as multiple new shops were opening in small villages where just 2/3 longer standing barbers were never 100% full booked.

That's the problem with the "plastic " £5 note , when you inadvertently wash it it shrinks and comes out as £ 2:50 .

So the BOE have decided to follow the standard grind people to dust to control inflation route  🤔🤔 Shame  they didn’t warn Sunak or the population that the actions at the time of the then Chancellor was gonna have extremely serious repercussions. How did anyone think printing billions to pay for covid would have anything other than disastrous consequences upon Health, Education, Interest rates, Inflation etc etc 

I don’t even see how it can be a surprise to anyone  including even the most vociferous of covid warriors.

Whether it's reviewing the Bank of England's remit, or simply more oversight, reform can’t be put off...

Interesting that it’s one of the first articles that recognises the effect the speech in question, had rather than the initial muted reaction to the so called mini budget.
