Now local councils complaint they don’t have enough time to prepare for elections. They need to accept that no time is needed and they’ll be fighting a losing battle whatever they do

I do wonder sometimes, surely they just roll out what they did the last time? And the time before, and the one before...

In fairness to councils there is a hell of a lot of admin and organisation needed to run an election. I've worked for local councils many times on local and national elections as a Presiding Officer and on counts. It is a big operation even for local elections, yes a lot is carry over but new temporary staff have to be recruited, trained and security checked and often places used as polling stations are not available so suitable new ones needed. Printing schedules are tight as candidates need to be selected, nominated and vetted and that's only just started.

I wonder.... pots and kettle and so on.

Still doesn't change your post of a small minded man attacking another for past health issues, lying in your post to say they are current health issues.

Right ya wee fanny, been a bit busy today but predictably you are here again.
Ok for starters I’m sure Mark is very appreciative of you appointing yourself as his guardian and discussing his ” health”  issues here. Well SP/TA judging by some of the posts and the time they are put out and Marks own comments Id say still partakes of the devils vomit.
You do know that alcoholism cannot be cured !!. Total abstinence can keep it under control.
You really need to educate yourself wee man.
Try and be a bit more original, come up with some of your own lines or material 😂
There’s one good thing to come out of you now focussing on Marks health and that’s your rape obsession seems to be being tamed by your current role.

What a tool.

It is not Mark as such, it is your attitude to all mental health issues that is the problem here. To make fun of, to weaponise, to attack because of past problems. It is just the focus of your current abuse is Mark, but it could be any member who dares to open up that could be the target of your venom.

It might be worth reiterating that male mental health is a silent killer, 'man up', 'say nothing' attitude which needs to change and then arses like you come along to poke fun of and to throw insults out at those who do open up.

Makes everyone else clam up until you find them at the end of the rope and the repeated comment around the grave "if only they had told someone". Well, if the response they get is you is there any surprise that men don't?

Utter shite.

Are you suggesting that complete abstinence is the only way to manage an addiction? If so, you really do need to give your head a wobble. You treat the cause, not the effect.

Suicide is the biggest killer of men under the age of 50 in the UK.
