A fair bit of sick came up when I read this bit.

A state sponsored scheme to encourage citizens to inform on each other.
The Stasi would most definitely approve.

could backfire on them,,, they are already turning on each other, this could prove to be their ultimate demise.

Of course, this was always there, even under the Tory government that you voted for. Just an increase in the cash 'reward'.

Done the sums last night, broadly speaking they'll be taking the same tax from me as before.

What did amuse me though is that -even before she had stood up to speak- the Daily Mails calculator was headlined by "How much MORE will YOU pay"... not saying they are biased but... in their actual calculator when I looked they (and the Telegraph) only asked about what will put your tax bill up so any gains from it were not included "Do you drive an electric car" but forgetting fuel (petrol) duty being frozen as an example.

Bit of a bland budget to be honest, nothing to get too wound up about, and nothing to get excited about either.

Ah HMRC boy, nope I voted reform last time as I’ve told you several times. Is not tax in jock land devolved by the way ??. As a person who was conned by Sturgeon I’d not be making my mouth go if I were you lad.
Anyway SP I see the biggest issue for productivity has been revealed to be the “ public sector” if you spent a bit less time on here do you think that might help??.

There’s a nice little article from our Norwegian cousins, happily extracting oil and gas whilst we play net zero games, it shows commercial diving not the this Scuba/latex fantasy you keep droning on about.

Get back to work you lazy bugger.
Labour look after the public sector shirkers that’s for sure.
