Londoners. The NHS has clear guidance that lack of ID, proof of address and immigration status are not considered reasonable grounds to refuse a person's registration with a GP

Good to see the King wielding his soft power to undo some of the damage done to our relationship with France over the last few years. 

 

Whatever you think of the Monarchy as an institution: I believe he is alright, on a personal level he's a decent guy. Most of the values that he stands for are fundamentally good. IMO. I'd happily have him as Prime Minister. I'm sure he'd do a better job than the current and previous three at least. It goes without saying that he's more honest than Boris, and more intelligent than Truss.

as to pm, I think the country is way to far down the hole for him to bring it back, he is imo, too fair, too old, and sadly not in perfect health.

1,700 came over last week . Yes in one week . Apparently Nigel was at sea and witnessed the French coast guard escorting the small boats and handing them over to UK border force but retrieving their life jackets first ready for the next lot .

There is a massive difference I think in how long you are invested for - Prime Ministers are fighting to keep their jobs from day 1, all their policies have to be pleasing else they are out the door.. look to the politics on this forum to see how quick the crowd turns if they are unhappy, where as the king in invested in being the king for the next lot of years... a long term project and has the foresight to look long term in the future. Could cause 'discussion' here but the House of Lords has a similar long term view of the world, rejecting the quick fixes that will break in 3 or 4 years but looking to a long term for changes.

I was sharing my thoughts on the King, I didn't ask your view on Brexit or the EU. You could try and find some common ground, (surely a man like you is a big fan of the King), rather than trying to reopen a toxic,  divisive debate. .........Oh, hang on ....
