Had a pretty stiff Jab too if I remember rightly. 😂

There was a clip on radio this morning of him saying, when asked about his legacy, "I don't suppose they'll think of me for owt, well maybe a 60 second clip of me thumping a bloke".

Gordon Brown said his legacy would be, amongst other stuff, making Tony Blair appear palatable to working people which made me laugh, managed to stick the boot right in while giving JP's obituary!

“When I walked past this guy, and he hit me with the egg, right, I don't know it was an egg, I just feel this very warm thing running down my neck and I think, well I just think somebody's perhaps knifed me or assaulted me, you know, that all happens in a split second, and I see this fellow built like a bloody barn door, and I turned, and I reacted, and when Tony [Blair] asked me, er, what happened I said I was carrying out his orders; he told us to connect with the electorate, so I did.”

APPLE.NEWS

As the prime minister says he will "set out the path" to increase defence spending, the UK's...

Let’s stop wasting billions on net zero bollocks, overseas aid, asylum and illegal immigrants etc etc and get our armed forces and supporting industrial base up to a decent state of readiness before it’s too late. It’s no good talking the talk as successive governments have done and sent lads to war  yet constantly cut the armed forces budget. Not much point in leading the world to climate la la land if you can’t even defend yourself.

Really 🤷‍♂️so we have had no cuts in our defence budget???, that’s strange seeing as an example the battalion I served in doesn’t even exist any more. Bull and smoke 🤔Tell that to the thousands of Ukrainian lads dead and maimed. It’s always the guys on the ground who pay the price for political decisions.
