The value of chestnut wood?

Hi all I have been asked to fell a very large chestnut,I don't have a great deal of knowledge about this wood,it's girth is has a wide girth and plenty of big limbs is there any value to this wood,if so for turning or milling?any info would be fab cheers all.

As seventh says assuming you its conker ok for firewood to burn yourself. It used to be used for false legs as it tends not to splinter, rather it breaks in a block like way saving injury when the leg fails. But these days false limbs are synthetic.

Stayed in a house a couple of years ago and every room had floor boards of a different wood (all from westonbirt I believe) and one room had horse chestnut: it had some interesting grain but the owner said you shouldn't walk on it in high heels (fortunately I'd left em at home😃)
