Strimmer visors

Afternoon all,

Does anyone have a good source for replacement strimmer visors?

I seem to scratch them up and would like a couple of spares.

Screw fix do super cheap complete set ups but it's a shame to waste the head gear section each time I bugger the visor up.:thumbdown:

I tend to wear a forestry helmet with mesh visor and safety spec aswell.

I never came across clear plastic visor thats lasts

The plastic visors are good in heavily dog landmined areas as saves you eating as much but as above I mostly stick with mesh and specks.

mesh and safety specs and a buff to protect the lower face is what we use where I work.

I use the Stihl G500 (which is a 3m G500)

Mmm, back off to screwfix for a mesh job then. Comfortable and cheap as it's going to get abused.

I prefer the plastic visors as it keeps more of the mashed up slugs etc out, and I wear glasses so safety specs are no use.

 

You can get replacement polycarbonate dead cheap on ebay, few quid, just change it once or twice a year

I wear glasses as well but I also have a pair of prescription safety glasses.
