Erm, why?, from fond memories of exploring & exploiting the performance envelope of a wee 540 Universal many year ago,

He got fat tyres, chains & brains, on an bomb proof tractor, designed for this very type of use, & in some eyes abuse.

Rock on Tommy!

A gut judgement, but I instantly figgered he was NOT abusing the clutch, despite the theatricals.

My first post on arbtalk - been looking at the site for ages and finally decided to join. Thought I'd start by sharing some pictures of my tractor. It's an old Carraro Tigretrac with a 3 ton trailer and 4 ton uniforest winch. Great for getting into the woods without making too much mess and going into places bigger machines won't fit. I hire the digger in for brash burning and throwing logs around when needed!
