Forget those girly wee things Jojam, you need one like mine....monster monster:001_tt2:

Smart bus! How do you find the front loader, I have been told that they are not ideal for an alpine tractor due to the weight distribution and work best with a reverse drive and rear loader?:confused1:

Its not bad, you need something on the back, lifts about half a ton, the rear mount ones make the whole thing very long and tie up the back of the tractor. Its fine for what I need, a half ton log is actually quite big.

Here's a couple of pics and a short vid of my alpine on a buliding site on friday. Too muddy to take the van in and with all the diggers and dumpers flying around it was especisally handy to nip in and out with bunches of brash and stay out of their way, good to keep the brash out of the mud too. We stacked the brash all the right way so when I came out it was all pointing the right way for the chipper.:001_smile:

I bought it 2 years ago with loader and grab for just under 16K.

There's a few places selling them, mine was from Kilworths. Make sure you get wrap around underbody protection, mine just goes underneath, and I have knocked the fuel filter off a couple of times.
