Fine till you get home and find 3 washing lines and a bus stop round the crane. Surprising how much it moves when you steer when its out the back. I think I may end up lengthening the grab bar a bit, Wilsons are happy to swap it for another longer one....

Hopefully a winch on the front, I might ballast the front tyres too, The electro hydraulic valve block is on the roof under the box....

Does the PTO go the right way round for a winch on the front?

JAKE do a set of front wheel weights another option to balasting.

Does the valve block restrict access from the roof escape hatch?

Anticlock front PTO so the winch will go straight on, i'll still be using it on the alpine a lot, there is no use of the roof hatch, but its meant for driving on frozen lakes so not likely to get used anyway LOL.

That looks awesome Tom.

The reverse drives have come on a lot. I remember early ones, you needed to dismantle the normal steering column and fasten it in the back of the cab along with all controls.

Would take 20 minutes every swap. Right pain!

Got my new purchase (the International) back from local Mr Fixit - new oil in rear axle, new hydraulic filter, new fuel filters, new air filter (one we took out had an International Harvester label so was probably original!!), new seals on fuel pump, new seals on PAS, second hand drop arm on 3 point linkage fitted, wheel bearings tightened up, stop cable fitted.

Winch put on and now in the woods to assist with felling. Engine is sounding better all the time now it's actually working for a living, think it must have stood idle for a long time.
