No these are the pre production models from the go fund me page Jaime set up to develop the akimbo.. rock exotica will be releasing the CE one I imagine soon as these are made of parts from rock exotica I believe.

I'll be interested to know about the shackle tending point position.

That's how it was with the early BDB and it didn't work so well.

 

The tending shackle works great in that location, Al. If you look at the BDB and Akimbo side by side, you will see that they move quite differently.

Thanks Dave. I thought there must be a reason but I couldn't see the mechanical differences and angles from the photos.

Sunday funday figuring out a setting for 11mm sterling htp :001_smile:

 

The akimbo seems to be getting better the more it gets used. Still some room for improvement I think.:001_rolleyes: but overall it's a nice bit of kit:thumbup1:
