Climb kit for 38/39

If you go Kingswood, you can borrow prussiks and krabs etc. One guy on my course borrowed everything except harness cos everything he turned up with was either something you wouldn't let your worst enemy climb in or was for rock climbing!!!

 

 

Thinking kings wood as they got a combined course over 6 days.

Got a helmet sorted, cambium saver do I go rings on sling or an art/teufelberger saver??

 

standard rings are cheaper but i recently got an adjustable one - the fimblesaver and am really appreciating the option to make it long or short....my tuppence

Top hadled chainsaw for training ( we can take delivery before for your course)

 

If you get a stihl 211 rear handle it has the same engine size as a 201t but it half the price. A few bonuses are,

1)At least half the price of a 201t. (That's your chainsaw trousers and or boots payed for lol)

2) You can use it on the ground, saves buying a second saw straight away.

3) Having a rear handle in the tree will encourage you to get a proper work position

4) I think clogging down a pole is easier with a rear handle.

 

 

I went kingswood highly recommend them

I already have a 550,560 and 372 so got the back handles covered. Looking at a 540
