Ive seen these for sale for a little while now.They are advertised for Climbing and Rigging.

Has anyone had any experience with either? They are magnetic.

is it not to be used instead of an pulley block, it has a small pulley in either piece increasing the bend radius?

Nothing more than a friction saver with magnets. Simple but nice improvement.

what exactly do they do?

 

They allow you to set up and retrieve a rigging/climbing system from the ground using a throwline.

 

Wonder how the rigging version would be under dynamic loading?

I was thinking the same thing, like the idea of the cambium saver though looks like it could create a large radius giving even less friction than art products. Pricey though i bet.

The rigging buckblocks have a W.L.L of 3 tons and 5/8" pulleys.
