Hi I'm looking at investing in a large saw as I'm finding I could do with a 36" bar more often then I thought, has anyone got experience with husqy 395 or 3120 and could you tell me the faults and usability of both/either that you have had. Thanks

395xp is an awesome saw. 3120 is huge and heavy takes nearly a whole combi can to fill it up! 3120 is actually a very easy saw to start when warm and the chainbrake mechanism is a clever design. I blocked down a copper beech on spikes last week with a 3120 on a 42 inch c&b. It was tiresome.

The 395 will be of more use than a 3120 and will do most of what a 3120 can do. Just depends on what saws you have around it and the type of work you do but the 395 is a big enough brute to get you out of most trouble.

Not really any known issues with it. Solid well made lump of a saw!
