Did you see this on crime watch :

• Between 3pm and 4pm on Thursday 25 September 2008, a silver BMW coupe registered AE52 AOM was stolen from a house in Little Eversden, Cambridgeshire. A Beretta over-and-under shotgun and gun cabinet were also stolen from the address. Did you see the BMW being stolen or do you know where it was kept between 3.45pm and 8pm that day? Have you seen the Beretta shotgun and a Bratton gun cabinet? Did you see how the suspects made their getaway from the local sewage works?

*

• Louis and Clive had some tree surgery work done in April 2007. Two men carried out the work but left it incomplete. One of these men came round to Clive and Louis' house two days before the murder. The man was wearing a navy blue short-sleeved shirt with a large Fred Perry logo on the front. He was also wearing navy blue jogging bottoms with three stripes down the sides and white trainers. The police have an E-fit of this man and believe he may have been involved. Have you seen him?

*

• Was anyone in that area approached by cold callers posing as tree surgeons? They may have been driving a white drop-side or flatbed Ford transit van.

You gotta be carefull waving guns about.

I was working in Central America in 1999 and we had a run of break ins. My neighbour was a german expat and very publicly started shooting coconuts so everyone new he had a pistol. He got broke into soon after and they just kicked his door in and shot him in the legs. We were a little more low key so they just drugged the dogs and took the motor bike.
