I wanted specificaly that spec - 13tonne minimum (its actually 14.2) zero tailswing, under 10 years old, rubber pads and a blade - It took quite a while to find it, and due to the sharp increase in excavator prices, a lot more money than I thought...

Still, I'm very hapy with it. Next on the list is a bunching treeshear attachment.

How old is it then? It looks new from your pics! We have a tree shear on a 21 tonne long reach case at work. Very handy piece of kit just a shame its on a case!

Its a 1999 model, but its a Jap import with low hours. Case are now rebadged Sumitomo's I believe.

I think I was talking about your long reach machine tday with Alastair from treeshears.

Probably so, the machine was brand new on the Case stand at SED two years ago this May so case probably have changed badges. The machine and shear are based at Derby Depot, very handy for river bank willows! It even has a hydraulic winch mounted on the machine to.
