I have an older model Isuzu rodeo. It's a great truck but parts are only available from a handful of places. I'd say make sure you can buy parts for it before buying whatever you choose.

How old is old? I have a 2004 Trooper and have no problem with parts for that. :001_smile:

It's an 92 rodeo. Milners have most of the parts I have needed but not the best of quality on everything. Main declares have mega waits on parts as well.

So no one recommending a Hilux :confused1:

I'm looking at getting a crew cab myself, had a short list of Navarra, Ranger or Hilux, ruled out the Navarra and was leaning towards the Ranger but then thought that I'd maybe be better with a Hilux.

Navara??

Stay away regardless. Think major engine problems for the ones you can afford on your budget. Plenty info on 'net if you want to investigate...

Hilux? Over priced

L200?? Don't know anything about them, but it's a Mitsubishi, and just hope they don't rust like their other models....

Ranger?? Mate has one and loves it. May consider one myself when the day comes....

But what about the Isuzu pick up?? They get a good report...

Hi lux, reliable will go on for ever but small bed on the double cab, gutless, and over priced. You'll get more for ya money with the Isuzu. Rangers seem alright but a bit thirsty
