Hi guys/gals it's new harness time again I've been through a fair few over the years. But my last was a petzl sequoia one of the 1st not much padding but pulled in all the right places and am sad to have to retire it.

We have a new sequoia as a rescue harness but I just don't like it there are adjustments near the d rings to move the bridge further up to put more support on your back but I found they kept coming loose and ending up as long as they could be if that makes any sense. By this happening I found that there was loads of weight on my legs a very uncomfortable climb.

So being in the market for a new harness I just thought I'd ask for some recommendations from you all that have given some other brands a good testing. Cheers

For me the new one looks kinda cheap and plasticy I think. Not got a scientific reason just don't like the look of them. I also am not to keen on change which could be the ultimate reason.

Tried on loads recently expecting to walk away with a tree motion but didn't like it. I went for a stein vega plus. Really nice simple harness, similar to sequoia but better support and padding.

I really liked my old Stein Vega, they're a pretty underrated harness IMO.

Had a treemotion since just before Christmas, hated it for the first couple of weeks now I tolerate it (mainly due to how much it cost!) Probably won't be getting another one though.

I find my treemotion very busy with lots of straps hanging about on it.

I love the lower D's though (I've hardly ever used the side D's on mine)

It is a very comfy harness though.

TM feels like an old pair of slippers to me , on my second one now, I don't think until until owning one I've had a harness as comfy... Previously I was on the tree flex , tree Austria 2 , butterfly , comet and Willian's they all became like old friends eventually but gave me complaints to much pressure here or there.

I did like the stein vega I've briefly tried though with no complaints.
