As Marko and nearly everyone else said there isnt anything wrong at all with it and the "feel" is very good . Maybe you could put 5 seconds into it showing you replanting a sapling or two .

Haha. Just been for a walk pondering what it needs and that is exactly what we thought :thumbup1:

OK my advice for whats it s worth... don't include footage of a tree being chopped..

have a scene of some local farmer dragging an old tree into the yard on a 1950's tractor, giving the impression your chopping wood that would of been wasted anyway...have the fella shouting over something about another one blowing over in the night..

Then get it looking homely, you and the wife working together to get things done...

You bent over the log splitter the wife arriving with a brew and biscuits, switch it in a later scene showing the wife working while you arrive with tea and biscuits....

Have some voice over about your business while the vids running and don't forget to include the sound of children, to make it feel like a real family run affair...

Yeah it's pretty good, I would definitely switch the music to something instrumental as your words clash with some of the lyrics. I thought it was a good touch felling the tree, you're showing the process from standing timber all the way to closing the door on the log burner. Add something about sustainability etc, I think it will go a long way. Heating your home with renewable energy is a much better alternative to gas and oil etc; play on it.

Nice one Beau, its good to see your doing everything from standing tree to finished product delivered to door. The general public really get an insight into how much handling/work there is involved in the firewood process, particularly if you source and gather your own timber lengths. As you mentioned earlier blurb on your website will allude to the fact that you source most of the raw material from your other side lines i.e hedge laying/maintenance, coppice etc, so it is in fact a very sustainable industry.
