Can't help you at all mate, never even visited, but it's one of those places I've always had a hankering to go to.

Some builder mates worked in Guernsey for a bit and loved it.

We were warned about very narrow roads.

But that was for Guernsey, so don't know if the same applies for Jersey.

So vehicle choice maybe a factor - lots of reversing / giving way to other (smaller) vehicles maybe??

My family's from jersey. Not sure about work out there but lots of very nice houses and gardens. Obviously limited market but lots of nice property's to counter balance. The roads are narrow and steep in places. Nice place to holiday if nothing else.

Are you looking to work for an established company?

Yeah it looks a lovely place, I'm not sure how many arborists are actually in jersey but I do believe the company I am going to work for are well know and established there. I'm going on Sunday so I will soon find out. I'm hearing all sorts of things on the tax out there, any ideas?
