The reason I ask is out here our broadband is massively sporadic and unreliable, so im never sure that a message has been sent. If the message is replied to I see it as a thread, it's just the initial outgoing pm that I can't see. Unless I'm looking in the wrong place, which is often the case !!

One change that might annoy people is im considering making people log in with their email address rather than username. I know for a fact a lot of members probably have no idea what email address they originally used to create their accounts with. Nothing a simple email via the contact form wont sort out mind.

If you go on your list of messages you'll see a box that says inbox with so many messages on it, if you click on it. It should have a drop down menu with inbox, sent, delete .

You misunderstand me. You still have your same screen name, you just use your email to log in with
