You're talking about a legitimate claim, he's talking about all the fraudsters...

 

I had the same I ran into the back of a car once (sub 5mph slow moving traffic), no damage at all although I accept it was my fault. She claimed £5000 for whiplash injuries. I contacted the insurance to discuss it and all they said was that she had a doctor's note and there was nothing they could do.

 

The taxi driver who claimed against me for a similar bump, didn't go to the Drs, didn't need an ambulance and didn't go to A &E. I pointed out to the insurance company that he was a taxi driver and his lack of medical training negated his diagnosis of soft tissue injury and whiplash. He wasn't qualified to diagnose himself.

Its all a lottery. An accident thats 100% not your fault can still be found Your fault by an insurance company or judge. Protect your self with a dash cam, front and rear facing. A picture or video is worth everything... As they say....
