Three knot climbing is still taught on cs38,yeah its pretty basic and inefficient

Back in my day we had to climb 200' elms with nothing but rope braided from our beard hairs, whilst fighting the Gerrys off with our silkys!

I was taught the three knot system (not all that long ago) when I did my cs38. I think I used it once on a job when the rest of my kit got forgotten.., I do feel spoiled with all the kit available now.

Can you remember when multiplat came out? It was revolutionary at the time. I remember some hard days climbing with that in the rain. Horrible stuff.
