I think you will be far better off selling privately, as that's what I plan to do with my Posch. [emoji106]
Jasp just gave me £9.5k part ex on my 350. Didn't think that was too bad to be fair. I've seen a few around the £10/10.5k mark so wasn't worth the hassle selling privately

I think half of arbtalk was there, we went on Friday and it was a good show. I didn't see any big developments on the processor side this time although we did buy another tajfun 480+. Hakki pilke look unchanged, posch had some interesting stuff and I didn't take a close look at palax.

Depending on when your new machine arrives, we would be potentially interested in taking your old one off you to upgrade from our 400. PM me if you like.

I have been busy weekends of recent cutting out new rides through a boggy wild woodland, getting through leggy birch and rowan mostly. Here's a few videos detailing the process from standing tree to split log. Please excuse the crappy editing, grainy footage, poor sound quality in these plus the double speed effect.

Ia that a four way blade on your Thor? If so is it something you had made or can you buy them?

Sorry, we traded in at the apf. We're having the demo one from the stand so it was a quick deal.

Fair enough, you do right!

Kilworth may still have it in stock when we change you never know!

Slight topic detour today. ‘What logs have you been drying lately?’

Imported some ash, oak, alder and birch from Lithuania to take the pressure off while I’m away for a fortnight getting married and on honeymoon.

In the absence of a working tester I put the oak and ash in our own kiln to see what would happen. Worst case I’ve wasted electricity running the fans and best case they needed putting in anyway!
Got back this morning and they’re on 70 degrees at 46% RH. Definitely worth putting in there. Had 6 month seasoned logs in there give out not much more moisture.

At least they’ll be dry I suppose. [emoji17]51b5c527057e72e229effa4c2e1b7a04.jpg
