Yep all go in the barns before the weather turns but they're more or less all full as didn't sell as much as we hoped last year and the hay is all in at the minute

Been processing a load of arb waste, a mix of everything, best to get it all done before the weather turns, which I hope it turns nice and cold with a few weeks of snow!!!!

How have the rest of you been getting on, busy cutting and splitting??

Did some chipping in a nearby bit of forestry today, it was all under 4 inch diameter and 4-5ft lengths so we just chucked it in and tried to keep up with the chipper.

Between two of us we did 7 trailers/70 cube and hauled it back so not a bad day. Need a break now though.

Cherry , Ash , Syc , Hawthorn , Holm oak , and some Eucalyptus . All well seasoned .

Looks like an unenviable job there William. Not had anything that ugly for some time.

 

Few pics from a couple of recent jobs.

 

First is deceptive as that pile is apparently an entire 19 tonne load of oak. Most I have ever done in a day.

 

Today started filling these bays for a chap down in cornwall. Thinking I may have a few more trips to make

Nice big pile of cordwood there!, bet there will be few on here that would like a bit of that, at the right price off course haha.

And yh there's some ugly bits I have to deal with but it looks worse than it is, just were it's all been tipped out loose, shouldn't take me too long if 8 get stuck in chainsawing and using the processor as just a splitter.

Almost got my indoor store full now for the small bit we do, about 120m3 by my guessing with a stride out tonight.
