I've just acquired a stihl 075AV not tried running it yet, but was told it did run ok. Anybody know what chain/bar I need for it. I was thinking that I could use it with an Alaskan when I finally get round to getting one.

large stihl mount (like the 084/088 and indeed the 070 above) with 3/8 or .404 chain your choice, tho it'll probably have a .404 drive sprocket on it...

It never ceases to amaze me how quick information comes out on here. I take it that means that the bar off the 650 won't fit it then. Now decisions what size bar to get.....
