The latest facelift models aren't very good at all, they've got the diesel particulate filter in the exhaust which seems to choke them. ive got a 15 plate manual invincible 3.0 and mate has same but in auto box both chipped with a chip express chip set to max which is meant to produce 220ish bhp and they're still pretty dead. It's certainly better with it on its worst than useless without it, comes to a hill on motorway without chip at 75 - 80ish and it just dies. Same friend also has a 07 3.0 invincible before the filter in exhaust, again chipped that goes like a rocket!! Tow's a 2000gallon fuel bowser round most of summer for his farm contracting business, although I think it likes clutches..

Previous to this had a 13 plate navara auto which wasn't chipped but I'd say it was nippier than the new hilux and far more refined inside, hilux is still quite agricultural in my opinion.
