Think you need to be asking this on a building forum

After our area around Hull flooded years ago all builders were busy for a couple of years with all the repair work and new kitchens, rewiring, plastering etc that needed doing.

Not really has there is a lot of folk on here who are landscaping contractors and plenty of Fencing lads on here plus the numerous bricklayer's that will be in with the Landscape lads .

Has the the 2nd post " Crass" which is a old word for being insensitive then he is not , we are all guilty of posting pictures of peoples mis-fortunes with blown tree's etc .

There will be some lads on here who's business will effected dramatically with the floods ie Workshop lads and Shops that sell equipment so they will be effected , not been insensitive but just a honest post .

He could possibly of worded it better though.

loads of work to clear ,but impossible to do the job let alone extract timber without making a huge mess, just waiting for things to dry out a bit.yes its causing delays in doing work, the money will come in eventually so wont lose out but cashflow is tight at the moment

Probably a good time to wear a different cap for week or two. There will be opportunities of other types of work for the taking, make hay while the sun shines and all that.

For me I am rapidly running out of funds , this wet weather has played havoc for me has I have 3 tree jobs that all need felling and the customers gardens are absolutely swamped and a Calor tank to dig but water table far to high .

I have a fence job to start and possibly more by weekend.

Same here, I have a big conifer felling job to start but ground is far too wet to start! I also think a lot of domestic customers may be holding off getting there tree work done while the gardens are so wet!!
