560xp help needed please

Hey folks I bought a 560xp off a fellow arbtalker and fired it up for the first time today. Took a bit of time to get it running but we'll put it down to not being started for a while. Anyway when I tried to engage the chain nothing happened. The brake mechanism works fine, but the chain won't spin. loosened off the bar nuts slightly and chain adjuster screw until the chain was sagging below the bar and tried to move the chain but it still wouldn't move, loosened the bar nuts even more then the chain moved freely. Adjusted the tensioner back up and nipped up the bar nuts and the chain locked again. I don't have any experience on the more modern Husqvarna's, but it looks like the sprocket casing is pressing against the clutch drum when tightened up stopping it from spinning. Any idea whats caused this and how to resolve it as I have thirty conifers to drop next week? Thanks

Put a lot of pressure on the inside of the chain brake towards the starter pull side whilst disengaging, the mechanism just wear to the point it's hard to disengage... My older 560 does this and if any one picks it up who does not know the quirk thinks the saw is broken.

I can confirm limited chain brake application with its previous owner and that it never got thrown from a tree. From memory I've only ever climbed with it three times.

Sorry Chris - I was referring to Matts "amazing flying saws" and not any you may have owned - your MS460 was in stonking condition from memory!
